Existentialism in Literature and Film at Berkely
Check this out: a podcasted lecture series from Berkely on Existentialism in literature and film. From Berkely of all places. Listen to the description: The course will be organized around various attempts to reinterpret the Judeo/Christian God, and to determine in what sense, if at all, such a God is still a living God. Great Comments
This comment by Jonathan about Christian music is why I love having him as a reader. My favorite line: “I found the testimony, of moral conscience winning over in “illegal” downloading, in the 1st article to be especially nauseating.” That’s aweswome.

Update on NPR podcasts
As it turns out, you have to do a bit searching to find all the podcast stuff you’ll want. And Prairie Home Companion in its entirety is right out due to special guests, copyright, blah blah blah. This includes people who believe that in order to make a difference or be significant in culture, one must have wicked style.…Bridled cool is an economic cashcow. Translated to Christianity, cool is the [...]

Camping
Jonah and I went camping last weekend. It was dang cold for September. But it was awesome. Somebody in our church (still not sure who) has about 5 acres of woods with actual hills (and steep ones!) This, my friends, is how breakfast should be eaten: with family. On the ground.
