Really Back in Business
Ok. I’ve got my setting reimported into Opera. I’m still debating about whether or not I’m going to move everything over and share files between the Linux and Windows versions. I’m kind of thinking I’m not, just so nothing gets buggered.… We’ll see, I guess. Still, it feels good to be back, hehe.

Linux Is Almost Fun
Well, I’ve ALMOST given up on getting my wireless to work. As it turns out, I have to download the code that makes up the heart of Linux (not the programs itself), which is some wacky-big download or something. I dunno. Whatever it is, I ain’t got it. But besides that, I’m starting to get the [...]

Fedora Dial-Up Working!!
I got it working! I finally got dial-up working on Fedora. Here’s what I had to do. First of all, I had to download the slmodemd rpm from somewhere and install it. It didn’t work. I’ve heard (and thunk) a lot recently about the church, how important it is to be part of one in the traditional American sense, and how I wouldn’t complain if I didn’t get involved in a church for a long while. And a friend of mine talked a lot a while ago about how he was [...]
Battlestar Galactica Is Not Babylon 5
Ok. I just realized: I’m not geek enough. I read an article a couple weeks ago about the new(ish) Babylon 5 show and thought to myself, “Hasn’t that show been around forever and isn’t it geek central? Why are they touting it as 1) new and 2) accessible?” As it turns out, I was mixing [...]
